On our drive back to Dallas from a fabulous weekend in Austin, Amanda & I stopped in Saledo for some good ol' BBQ & beef jerkey. The briskit was Outstanding, and the environment was 100% authentic TX. Everything you would expect from an I 35 pit stop, including this Sweet piece of graphic design I found on the bathroom doors...

Take note!

In case you were wondering, I absolutely LOVE flowers! Every color, shape, size, and variety. The more unique the better. I was walking by The Urban Blossom in Addison Circle this morning and saw some particularly beautiful arrangements.

I'm just saying.....

AT&T how I hate thee...

It's been almost two weeks now and I have had almost 10 dropped calls! I never realized that actually happened to people a lot, especially in a big city like Dallas. I always just figured those Verizon network commercials were a marketing gimmick.
Well, turns out Verizon spoiled me. They really do have an excellent network. Now I'm chained to AT&T, and these dropped calls are really causing a kink in my social life.

Recent phone conversation example with a very hot guy I went out with last weekend:

Hot Guy: "Hi Angela how's it going?"

Me: "Going well, how are you?"

Hot Guy: "I'm doing good.... I had a great time with you last week, I'd love to get together with you again soon. Would you be up for dinner next week?"

Me: ...........Call Dropped.........

Hot Guy: "Ummm, hello? Angela?"

I waited in line Friday with all of the other apple geeks to luckily be one of the first to own this fabulous mini computer which also makes phone calls. This phone is amazing! 

Those of you who have not done so yet, please update my new 214 number in your address books! That's right... I've finally left my 281 Houston roots, and succumbed to the Dallas 214

Merrcat, a spanish tapas restaurant in Downtown Chicago, gives quite an impressive  presentation of this lethal liquid.....
